The “Vogue Challenge”

Rating: 2 out of 5.

For The “Vogue Challenge,” I edited a photo I took and added the word “Vogue” to the top of it. It’s suppose to look like the cover of a Vogue magazine. To do this, I took my photo into photoshop and created a text layer with the word Vogue in Times New Roman font. Once the text was placed correctly over the image I then duplicated my photo layer and moved it on top of the text layer. This layer will help give the effect of the text being behind her head. To do this, I add an inverted clipping mask to the new top layer. Next, I select the paint brush tool and white color. Where ever the text is over her face is where I paint over. This will bring back the picture over the area. The end results look like this!
