Modifying An Original Song Without Outside Sounds
The Modifying An Original Song Without Outside Sounds assignment was to take a song and change it with an editing software so it has a unique feel. My original plan was to slow it down and lower the pitch. Instead, I ended up creating an 8D audio. This makes it feel like like the song is dancing around you. To create this, I downloaded the song and imported it into Adobe Audition. Next, I used the doppler shift effect. This is what makes the audio move around you. I messed with the controls until it sounded like I wanted it to. After I applied that, I added studio reverb and brought up the vocals and base. I like lyric videos, so to finish up the project I imported the audio to Premiere Pro and created a video!
For this assignment, I had to create a spooky sounds audio. I used adobe audition to do this. I just added a bunch of spooky sound effects on top of each other and added a rain storm in the background.
I decided to use this assignment as an opportunity for the radio show. So, I used this audio to also create a bumper. This can be used to transition from a commercial to a new story in our spooky show!
