The first week of class has been interesting. I have never made a blog before, but I enjoyed working on these assignments. I was frustrated at first with creating my website. WordPress made it difficult for me to move elements in my page to where I would like them. I also found that I couldn’t design and customize it to my liking without a paid version. However, I eventually figured it out.
Along with creating the website for my blog, I wrote my first entry (here). It was over an episode of The Joy of Painting. The last task I completed was coming up with an internet handle for myself. I’ve wanted to change my handle for a while now. All of my usernames were different on every platform and I wanted to make them the same. I changed my handle to Katie___Donovan. After this first week, I can genuinely say I am excited about this class. I look forward to all that have to learn!
