I don’t listen to podcasts and audiobooks very often. I always forget how entertaining they can be. For this assignment, I listened to From Tree to Shining Tree.
I think that the background sound effects, noises, and music adds a lot to the story. The music helps set the mood. Sound effects creates the tone. The extra noises such as the dog barking, walking, and car noises helps me paint the picture of the story in my head.
If they were just telling the story without the background noises it wouldn’t nearly be as captivating. It really pulls me in and brings the story to life.
I also how they switched back and forth from her telling the story and him narrating what is happening.
